Foreign workers right to form associations
15. The foreign workers are not allowed to form associations in Malaysia. Associations to
represent the interest of foreign workers would play an important role to safeguard the
welfare and wellbeing of FWs. It is recommended that foreign workers be allowed to form
associations to represent their interest in the country.
